There are four subjects for CA foundation
- 1. Paper1-Principles and Practice of Accounting (Descriptive -100 marks)
- 2. Paper2-Business Laws & Business Correspondence and Reporting (Descriptive -100 marks)
• Part A-Business Laws (60marks)
• Part B-Business Correspondence and Reporting (40Marks)
- 3. Paper3-Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics (Objective - 100Marks)
• Part A-Business Mathematics (40marks)
• Part B-Logical Reasoning (20marks)
• Part C-Statistics (40Marks)
- 4. Paper4-Business Economics& Business and Commercial Knowledge (Objective -100 Marks)
• Part A-Business Economics (60 marks)
• Part B-Business and Commercial Knowledge (40marks)
All the exams should be cleared in one sitting.Minimum pass mark in each paper 40% and minimum pass
marks in aggregate 50%. The students who have passed the exam of CA foundation course can apply for
CA intermediate course.
Rules for Registration
- 1. Students who have cleared their +2 or other equivalent course from a recognized Institution are eligible to attend their CA Foundation.
- 2. The students who have passed 10 th class can also register for CA Foundation and to get a provisional registration.
- 3. Exams are conducted twice in a year i.e., May and November. Last date of registration before
31 st December for May exam and before 31 st June for November exam. There must be a
minimum gap of 4 months between the registration and examination to be appeared.
- 4. Registration fees – 9200 (including Exam Fee)
- 5. CA foundation course registration is valid for 3 years and the students can revalidate it for
another 3 years and so on after making a payment of rupees 500.
